Make Crust🥧
Graham cracker crust (full recipe and tips): Taste of Home — Homemade Graham Cracker Crust
- 1-1/2 cups crushed graham cracker crumbs (24 squares)
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1/3 cup butter, melted
- In a small bowl, combine the crumbs and sugar; add butter and blend well. Press onto the bottom and up the side of an ungreased 9-inch pie plate.
- Refrigerate for 30 minutes before filling, or bake at 375 degrees until the crust is lightly browned, 8 to 10 minutes. Cool on a wire rack before filling.
Make Cheesecake Base🍰
- 1 (8-ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 (14-ounce) can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (not evaporated milk)
- 1/3 cup ReaLemon Lemon Juice from Concentrate
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- In a large bowl, beat cream cheese until fluffy.
- Gradually beat in sweetened condensed milk until smooth.
- Beat in 1/3 cup lemon juice and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract.
- Pour into the prepared graham cracker pie crust.
Make Strawberry Layer🍓
- 1 quart fresh strawberries, cleaned and hulled
- 1 (16-ounce) package strawberry Danish pudding
- Cut the strawberries.
- Make the Danish pudding following the recipe on the box.
- Pour Danish pudding over the strawberries.
- Pour the strawberry pudding mixture carefully over the top of the cheesecake base.
Substitute note: Use Kool-Aid and cornstarch if you do not have Danish pudding.
