Privacy Policy

Drop Search is a Chrome extension that reverse-searches images with Google Lens. It is built to do that one job without collecting an account, a profile, or a browsing history from you.

What we collect

Drop Search does not collect, store, or sell your personal information. There is no Drop Search account, and the extension does not send analytics, crash reports, or usage data to Josh Dance.

How searches work

When you drop an image onto the Drop Search target or into the sidebar, that image is sent to Google so Lens can search it. Google receives the image as part of performing the search. Drop Search does not upload your images to servers controlled by Josh Dance.

What we don't do

We do not sell your data. We do not build advertising profiles. We do not keep a copy of the images you search.

Google Lens searches are governed by Google's Privacy Policy.
